Soulfully Navigating Fertility and Infertility: A Holistic Webinar for Muslim Women
Friday July 11th: 10am - 1pm EST/3pm - 6pm BST
There is a profound gap in fertility-related knowledge available to Muslim women—one that leaves many of us navigating this sacred terrain feeling unprepared, unseen, and unsure. Cultural narratives often reduce a woman’s worth to her ability to conceive, fueling silent pressure to marry quickly for the sake of a “biological clock.” In the absence of holistic guidance, many women are left feeling disempowered—as if their reproductive journey is something they only learn more about when something goes wrong.
This 3-hour webinar offers a soulful space to reclaim our understanding. Rooted in compassion and clarity, it sits at the intersection of medically accurate information, Islamic traditions of the soul, and trauma-informed approaches. Whether you're preparing for the future, actively trying to conceive, or simply seeking to feel more at home in your body, this session offers physical, sexual, emotional, and spiritual insights to help you make informed, intentional choices—rooted in self-trust, not fear.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
Understand fertility and infertility through a holistic lens, including hormonal cycles, menstruation, ovulation, common fertility challenges, and key concepts related to trying to conceive (TTC), birth control, and reproductive planning.
Reflect on the emotional and spiritual dimensions of infertility and loss, while learning how soulful and somatic approaches can support healing and self-awareness throughout the journey.
Gain clarity on reproductive assistive technologies—such as IVF, IUI, and egg freezing—including when to consider them, how to navigate ethical questions from an Islamic lens, and which professionals (medical, spiritual, and mental health) to seek out for comprehensive support.
Explore holistic lifestyle factors that may influence fertility and well-being, including nutrition, stress, movement, and nervous system regulation—while learning to make informed, spiritually-aligned choices rooted in knowledge rather than fear or urgency.
