Sexual Health for Muslims

Sameera is reviving Islamic traditions of the soul for holistic sexual health education and therapy services for Muslims. Her work is geared towards both Muslims and professionals who serve them.

The Challenge

Muslims are struggling with their sexual health—this includes challenges such as navigating shame about intimacy, overcoming past trauma, dealing with pornography addiction, struggling with sexual dysfunction, or finding balance in relationships.

Focusing solely on a “halal vs. haraam” framework simply doesn’t work—this approach oversimplifies the complexity of sexual health and erases the rich Islamic traditions that address the soul’s journey, emotional well-being, and physical needs in harmony.

Sameera Qureshi is leading innovation in this field by centering Islamic Psychology in her work, offering a holistic, soulful approach to sexual health for Muslims. Her work integrates spiritual, emotional, and physical dimensions, empowering Muslims to reclaim their well-being within an authentically Islamic framework.
